Refund policy
At Berbry UG, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction. In accordance with statutory consumer protection laws in Germany (§§ 355–357 of the German Civil Code [BGB]), we provide a free return policy for eligible products under the German Laws, as described in this policy.
In cases where settlement is not possible, it should be resolved on a court in Berlin, Germany.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
1.1 Eligibility:
As a consumer, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase contract within 14 days without providing a reason. This right applies to all products purchased via our website unless otherwise specified under statutory exceptions (e.g., perishable goods or sealed items unsealed by the customer).
1.2 Withdrawal Period:
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date:
- You or a third party (other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods; or
- In the case of multiple items in a single order delivered separately, the day the final item is received.

2. Free Return Policy
2.1 Return Costs Covered:
If you withdraw from the contract, Berbry UG will bear the costs of returning the goods, provided the return is initiated within the 14-day withdrawal period.
2.2 Condition of Returned Goods:
You are responsible for ensuring the goods are returned in the same condition in which you received them. Any loss in value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics, and functionality may result in a deduction from your refund.
2.3 Return Procedure:
- Contact us at support@berbry.com to initiate the return process.
- We will provide you with a prepaid DHL return label.
- Securely pack the items and attach the return label to the package.
- Drop off the package at your nearest DHL service point or arrange for pickup.
3. Refund Process
3.1 Upon receiving the returned goods, we will inspect them and issue a refund within 14 days.
3.2 Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Exceptions to the Free Return Policy
The following items are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal and free return policy:
- Products made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
- Sealed items that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
- Goods that deteriorate rapidly or have a short expiry date.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
5.1 If the item you received is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at support@berbry.com.
5.2 In such cases, Berbry UG will cover the cost of return shipping regardless of the withdrawal period, and you will be offered a replacement or full refund.
